Sweet the days of yesteryear
When times in life felt calm
Grandma's house the meeting place
To rest your heart upon

Miles and miles of traveling
To spend some special time
Gathering with so much love
The roads in life aligned

Days of old and long ago
They keep the heart anew
Thinking back to happiness
With love you always knew

Gathered 'round a table
With hands all holding fast
Warmth and love we hold on to
So memories will last.
