Mary
wept for Jesus
Her heart so filled with fear
Blood of special Savior
Fell down with her tears
Looking up to Jesus
Upon His cross this day
Crown of thorns He's bearing
By friends He was betrayed
Knew that He was sent here
To free us all from sins
This burden He did carry
In silence love begins
Gentleness and dignity
He showed us in His Death
His Love for us is written
With sigh of His last breath
Love He gave His Father
From this His Only Son
This "Ordinary Man"
Whose life on earth was done
Such Royalty He gave us
With gift He gave alone
Flesh and blood of Jesus
His sacrifice our throne.
