Night
is now upon her
Yet nothing she will fear
Beneath the earth her Mother
Is always very near
The moon is shining brightly
The shadow of a glow
The spirits there to join her
With love that she will know
Wolf howls with sweet splendor
Calling to the wild
Her eyes are on this vision
Heartbeats of a child
Now before her vision
Of all that comes from past
The vision of such beauty
Has touched her soul at last
She hears the footsteps gather
Upon the earth's heartbeat
This grand courageous entrance
The love that she now meets
Prayer in her soul whispers
I see the light go by
Through many generations
The eagle now will fly.
