The promise of Easter
A new life begins
The sins of the world
Free now within

Hearts now are blessed
With love so divine
Gift from our Savior
For all of mankind

Those who will enter
This world with a sin
A drop from a fountain
Their new life begins

Pure and so innocent
Love has been found
Gift of sweet Jesus
The thorns of his crown

His cross it was heavy
His burden not light
Carried with dignity
In death did unite

And so it is written
Throughout all the land
This sacrifice given
From Father to Man.
