Promise
of life's glory
This our honor be
Freedom to the people
Whose light shines endlessly
No matter what the conflict
I'll always take a stand
Doing all that I can do
For freedom in our land
I am but a tribute
Of everyone out there
I fight for truth and justice
With courage and a prayer
America the beautiful
You make me feel so proud
Shadows of the glory known
Their echoes heard so loud
Peace to us this Christmas
With every heart that's blessed
With glory to this fortress
Our light for freedom's quest.
