~Everyone is running
Slamming every door
We just want some peace
To rest here on the floor
Aunt Franny she keeps petting me
Uncle Billy threw a ball
Don't they know we're tired now
We both are way too small
And kitty she is purring
It's hard to sleep at all
And this big hat is heavy
Ouch ~ who stepped on my paw
If they don't stop this nonsense
We'll sneak right out the door
I know that it is Christmas
And they want to have some fun
So we'll pretend we're sleeping now
