~Each day I wear a yellow dress
The one you said I looked my best
I wear it every night you see
Hoping you'll come back to me
The brightest color on the shore
Waiting anxiously to feel once more
Your arms around me holding tight
Whenever we would kiss good-night
Walking hand in hand on shore
The beauty captures all the awe
My heart does skip a beat or two
Whenever I am next to you
The way you said you loved me so
Assured me if I didn't know
What my dream was all about
For now you're gone without a doubt
And each night I stand patiently
Hoping you'll return to me
And faithful Raena by my side
Always gives me so much pride
She sits so calmly by the sea
Wondering where her friend could be
You never even said good-bye
I never understood just why
Was there someone waiting
Somewhere else
And you couldn't tell me this yourself
My heart is broken and I fear
That I will never have you near
So here I wait for loves return
What is the lesson to be learned
That I have lost you in my sight
But together we did share some light
So now that you are gone from me
My heart will keep its memories.~
