~I know that He was borrowed but He was still my Son
I loved Him in the morning and when the day was done
He honored me with beauty and never gave me pain
He helped me as I gathered the water in the rain
His smile so bright with Sunshine His Eyes so full of love
Every Mother has to know the Love of This My Son
A gentle soul that walked the earth and never hurt no one
This little boy I carried they nailed Him to a Cross
I always knew this Lesson was the one that God had sought
He died with so much dignity such suffering and pain
And when He called out to us all His Love will still remain
He bowed His Head in silence His life had slipped away
They put Him in my arms My Son ~ My Son I pray
I held Him to me closely and felt a pain that filled my soul
My sweetest borrowed treasure gave the greatest gift that's told
He walks among the velvet in His Father's House He Lives
My God I know the peaceful Love My Son Will Always Give.~
