~I am clinging to Your Cross I just can't let You go
I know that You died for me but I wanted You to know
I've tried so hard to hold on to You with all the love inside
I know that I must let You go cause the waves will not subside
The water swirls around me and its taking You away
The hour that you passed from me I wanted You to stay
I know that this was meant to be the day You died for me
It grieves me so Sweet Jesus that my heart will not be free
From the torments of this raging sea that swells inside of me
I'll close my eyes now Jesus and when I wake from this
My dreams are all abandoned and my heart will feel the bliss
For no one could have given more than a Life for mine
A gift that I will treasure until the end of time.~
